Send each Washington County criminal-record request to the government office that keeps the source file. WCSO handles its reports and county jail information, Circuit Court staff provide court documents, and Oregon State Police CJIS supplies official state criminal-history products. This Is Not a Government Office. Washington County Criminal History is privately operated. It cannot retrieve an official record, conduct an official background check, correct or remove government data, or accept an Oregon motion to set aside. Only the responsible public office can provide those services.

Need an Official Record?

Match the type of record to its custodian:

  • Police incident reports: request them from the law-enforcement agency that created the report
  • WCSO reports, bookings, and jail information: use the Washington County Sheriff's Criminal Records Section
  • Criminal court documents: review Criminal Court Cases and contact the clerk for the court that handled the prosecution
  • Oregon criminal-history products: use the Oregon State Police CJIS Computerized Criminal History Unit
  • Sex offender registry information: use the Oregon State Police Sex Offender Registration Section and the official Oregon Sex Offender Registry
  • Motions to set aside: file through the court that handled the eligible arrest, charge, or conviction

Washington County Circuit Court Records serves the public in the Justice Services Building at 150 N First Avenue, Room 110J, Hillsboro, OR 97124. The main telephone number is 503-846-8888. Service hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, except legal holidays.

CJIS can be reached at 503-378-3070; its own-record and Open Records materials also list 503-934-2307. The public name-based product uses the Oregon Open Records process, while review of one's own record requires fingerprints.
